Virtual ASL Educator – Illinois Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students in completing their courses

• Utilize the educator portal to choose available teaching assignments

• Implement the school's curriculum on the district's online platform

• Create lesson plans that align with the curriculum

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning space

• Engage and support student learning through relationship-driven methods

• Monitor and record student grades and overall performance

• Attend professional development workshops and faculty meetings organized by the district

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with students

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must possess an active teaching certification issued by a U.S. state

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience is required

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration

• Complete a background check as part of the application process
