Video Editor – YouTube, Podcast Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits when applicable.

• Create short-form clips suitable for Shorts, Reels, and TikToks.

• Implement clean cuts, pacing, basic motion graphics, captions, and sound balancing.

• Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance editing workflows, captioning, clipping, noise reduction, and content optimization.

• Collaborate with producers and creators to incorporate feedback and make revisions.

• Ensure that videos comply with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and publishing requirements.

• Organize project files and assets to facilitate a smooth remote workflow.

• Transform long-form and short-form recordings into polished, engaging content optimized for digital platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in editing YouTube videos and/or video podcasts.

• Proven experience with modern AI tools in video editing workflows.

• Proficiency in at least one professional video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong comprehension of YouTube and podcast content styles, pacing, and viewer engagement.

• Previous remote work experience and familiarity with remote collaboration tools and platforms including Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana.

• Must have prior experience working with US or UK-based companies; applications lacking this experience will not be considered.

• Ability to accept feedback, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.

• Experience in editing for YouTube channels or podcasts with regular publishing schedules is preferred.

• Knowledge of short-form content strategies for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels is preferred.

• Basic motion graphics or text animation experience is preferred.

• Interest in keeping up with new AI tools and trends in video production and content creation is preferred.

• Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

• Fluent proficiency in English.

• Required to complete the application form in full and record a video as the initial interview step.
