Video Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Capture, log, and deliver high-quality video of live performances using computer software and on-board recording systems.

• Oversee and monitor judges’ audio recordings during live events.

• Set up video equipment and computers, ensuring they operate correctly.

• Diagnose and resolve issues, providing basic technical support throughout events.

• Work alongside the Technical Assistant to enhance stage lighting for optimal video production.

• Assist with the operations of the Photographer.

• Help with stage setup and general preparations for events after media setup is finalized.

• Aid in truck load-in/load-out and the transportation of equipment.

• Manage, back up, and organize video files post-event.

• Ensure reliable and consistent video production even under tight deadlines.

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients.

• Operate both independently and collaboratively with production staff in fast-paced settings.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Livestreaming operations (such as sports or dance) is preferred.

• Strong understanding of video capture techniques and camera troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with cable management and protocols.

• Experience with live streaming software and ATEM switchers.

• Ability to deliver smooth and consistent video quality.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and computer networking.

• Strong reading comprehension and communication abilities.

• Capacity to maintain a positive attitude during lengthy workdays in dynamic environments.

• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to various travel arrangements (including airports, car rentals, and road trips).

• Openness to share hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues.

• Must live within reasonable distance from a U.S. international airport or hub.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Attendance at an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho is required for new or first-year event staff.
