This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Review short-form videos and evaluate their editing techniques.

• Determine if the openings effectively establish a strong hook.

• Analyze cut density, rhythm, pacing, and audience engagement.

• Spot instances of dead air, subpar transitions, and ineffective outcomes.

• Compose comprehensive explanations that reference specific moments.

• Potentially engage in hands-on editing tasks in the future.

• Provide editorial assessments utilized for training an AI system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in editing short-form content, including agency or brand materials, advertisements, TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.

• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Capability to articulate editorial reasoning in writing.

• A reel or portfolio showcasing short-form editing work.

• A computer that can efficiently run DaVinci Resolve.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Experience with motion graphics or captioning (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with editing according to client briefs with revision rounds (beneficial but not mandatory).
