Video Editor, Instagram, Podcasts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit Instagram Reels for @alinagrigoleit

• Review and edit one podcast episode biweekly

• Create two Reels for each podcast episode

• Extract the most engaging statements and moments from the podcast

• Eliminate slips of the tongue, pauses, and unnecessary length

• Incorporate subtitles, text overlays, zooms, music, sound effects, and supporting visuals

• Adapt videos to align with the existing style and branding

• Prepare formats suitable for Instagram and other social media platforms

• Potentially edit additional formats such as customer interviews and case studies

• Develop several compelling content pieces from extended conversations

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in editing Reels, podcasts, or other social media content

• Strong understanding of attention spans, storytelling, and audience retention

• Keen instinct for creating compelling hooks and engaging video openings

• Ability to pinpoint relevant statements from longer discussions

• Proficiency in professional video editing software

• Good eye for subtitles, typography, and contemporary social media aesthetics

• Reliable and self-motivated work style

• Experience with Riverside is advantageous, but not mandatory

• Relevant work samples are required

• Expected rate and current availability
