Video Production Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support the creation of both short-form and long-form media, encompassing podcast series, hosted debates, and educational materials.

• Edit various individual MP4 files into cohesive longer content derived from unrelated videos.

• Develop visual assets to enhance content engagement.

• Suggest strategies aimed at enhancing content quality and audience engagement.

• Ensure all deliverables are completed by the designated due dates as outlined in the content calendar.

• Present ideas for topics, editing methods, graphic design enhancements, and promotional strategies for approval.

• Edit projects in accordance with specific guidelines and submit them promptly to the Video Production Team Lead.

• Recognize key audiences and formulate targeting strategies to boost engagement with ONC video content.

• Effectively communicate with ONC team members via Slack, email, and Zoom.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current or recent student, ideally majoring in Film, Video & Graphic Arts, Film/Video Production, or showing interest in Film Studies and/or Video Production.

• Required familiarity with standard video editing software.

• Basic understanding of file management is necessary.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

• Must be a responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, particularly during conflicts.

• Capability to work remotely and manage an independent schedule while adhering to deadlines.

• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Availability to participate in weekly Organization-Wide meetings is required.

• Availability to attend weekly Media Department meetings is necessary.

• Authorization to intern in the U.S. is mandatory.
