Video Editor – Hindi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos, including reels, social media advertisements, promotional content, and explainer videos.

• Utilize captivating hooks, dynamic pacing, and a compelling narrative rhythm to enhance viewer engagement.

• Adjust editing techniques to align with platform-specific preferences, such as quick cuts for Instagram and eye-catching openings for YouTube Shorts.

• Improve video quality through color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive audio design.

• Collaborate with writers, designers, and creative leads to transform scripts and visual ideas into finished products.

• Keep abreast of the latest editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio innovations.

• Evaluate ad performance metrics and implement insights to refine edits, enhancing click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in Hindi, ensuring cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy, and impactful storytelling tailored to the audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or comparable tools.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in short-form content (reels, ads, promotions).

• Solid understanding of social platform algorithms and strategies for enhancing engagement.

• Exceptional storytelling instincts, visual creativity, and sound design capabilities.

• Ability to edit in Hindi, maintaining cultural sensitivity and linguistic precision.

• Proficient in both English and Hindi (written and spoken) for internal communication and review processes.

• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while meeting strict deadlines.

• Must provide their own laptop for daily tasks.
