Senior Video Editor – Motion & Narrative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Receive, evaluate, and convert incoming requests from marketing, business development, and executive teams into organized visual execution strategies.

• Design, conceptualize, and animate motion graphics for digital platforms, marketing materials, social media, and corporate communications.

• Review project briefs and associated content to create clear and logically structured visual narratives.

• Oversee projects starting from initial concepts and rough sketches through to motion execution, sound integration, and final file delivery.

• Adhere to established brand guidelines, typography systems, visual structures, and color schemes.

• Clearly articulate design rationale, project updates, and creative ideas through written and asynchronous video communication.

• Balance incoming project requests with proactive creative initiatives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the visual storytelling process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or Editor.

• Strong expertise in Adobe Suite, particularly After Effects.

• A portfolio that showcases exceptional skills in motion design, visual rhythm, timing, typography, and the ability to visually represent complex ideas.

• Capability to independently generate motion concepts from broad briefs or initial ideas with minimal daily oversight.

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfort in collaborating directly with internal stakeholders in a remote, asynchronous setting.

• Willingness to participate in weekly team syncs and occasional ad-hoc project meetings, regardless of local time zone.

• Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment.
