Video Editor – Spanish Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Generate Spanish SRT subtitle files from episode audio utilizing Pocket FM's AI tool.

• Merge English motion videos with their respective Spanish audio and ensure synchronization of audio and visuals.

• Rearrange English source visuals as necessary to enhance the Spanish storyline.

• Incorporate Spanish subtitles into finished motion videos and submit episodes for quality assurance.

• Create SRT files for Spanish audio and employ specified AI tools to produce stills videos.

• Evaluate stills videos for complete and legible subtitles, ensuring alignment with Spanish audio.

• Present motion and stills episodes for quality control assessment.

• Implement quality control corrections and resubmit episodes until they receive final approval.

• Collaborate with the content team and stakeholders regarding source materials, narrative alignment, feedback, and delivery specifications.

• Adhere to content standards and production protocols.

• Oversee assigned episodes and communicate progress, delivery status, and obstacles to the reporting manager.

• Deliver polished videos within the established production timelines.

• Utilize client-provided AI tools and embrace new tools, templates, and production methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in professional video-editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a similar tool.

• Experience in editing narrative video content and accurately synchronizing visuals to an audio track.

• Familiarity with subtitle creation and SRT files, including aspects of timing, readability, and placement.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted video, image, or subtitle-generation tools, with a willingness to utilize client-designated tools.

• Strong grasp of visual continuity, pacing, and story-driven editing techniques.

• Excellent storytelling intuition and the ability to make visual choices that enhance a narrative.

• Keen attention to detail, especially in audio synchronization, subtitle precision, and continuity.

• Capacity to manage multiple assigned episodes and adhere to production deadlines.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to accept, interpret, and act on quality control feedback.

• Dependable communication skills and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.

• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.

• Proficiency in English is important for reviewing English source videos and image sheets.

• Understanding of the Brazilian content market and audience preferences is advantageous.
