Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Convert raw footage, B-roll, voiceovers, and stock materials into captivating 20–60-second videos for Meta advertisements and social media, including effective end-of-video call-to-action sequences.

• Operate autonomously using high-level briefs and reference resources, making confident creative choices with minimal oversight.

• Conduct thorough research on each client's business, target audience, positioning, and existing content prior to editing.

• Utilize strong hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, visual alterations, and calls to action to engage viewers and promote ongoing viewing.

• Uphold high editing standards, communicate effectively with the internal team, and execute revisions promptly.

• Oversee project phases and deadlines through Monday.com or a similar project management tool.

• Design animated infographics and logo animations.

• Stay updated with TikTok and Instagram trends, including caption styling and hook structures in your edits.

• Edit content for both agency clients and the agency’s own brand materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing short-form content for organic social media and paid advertising campaigns.

• A strong portfolio showcasing engaging, high-quality video content.

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar professional editing software.

• Solid understanding of social media trends, pacing, and audience engagement techniques.

• Capability to distinguish between organic social content and direct-response advertising.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills in English.

• Highly detail-oriented, goal-driven, decisive, conscientious, and reliable.

• A dependable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for remote operations.

• Currently based in the Philippines and legally permitted to work there.
