This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Transform conversational footage into concise short-form narratives featuring compelling hooks, a well-defined structure, and engaging pacing.

• Utilize the founder’s messaging guidance to pinpoint the most impactful moments and craft comprehensive narratives without needing detailed, step-by-step instructions.

• Maintain each client’s unique voice, personality, and intended message while eliminating repetition, tangents, and distractions.

• Incorporate accurate captions, thoughtful framing, B-roll, punch-ins, and supporting visuals when they enhance clarity or engagement.

• Provide clean audio and polished, platform-ready videos, ensuring subtitles, visual details, and overall flow are checked prior to handoff.

• Organize recurring content and revisions for 4-6 clients, consistently delivering around 3-4 completed videos per day within the expected turnaround time.

• Tailor editing style to each client instead of applying a uniform formula across all speakers or brands.

• Demonstrate initiative in determining next steps, flagging unclear messaging or potential delivery issues early, and integrating feedback to minimize direction needed for future edits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels and relevant content such as talking-head, interviews, podcasts, founder, executive, thought leadership, or personal brand materials.

• Relevant professional video editing experience, ideally 3-5 years, with at least 2+ years focused on social content; candidates with 1-2 years and an outstanding portfolio are also encouraged to apply.

• Proficiency in CapCut, with solid fundamentals in captions, pacing, framing, B-roll, punch-ins, basic audio cleanup, and finishing touches.

• Strong instincts for short-form storytelling, including insights on why viewers stop scrolling, what content is essential for the edit, and how to enhance a message without making the speaker sound artificial.

• Excellent English comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to grasp conversational nuances and preserve the speaker’s intent.

• Proven initiative and independent judgment, coupled with the organizational skills to manage recurring edits, revisions, and delivery deadlines without waiting for detailed instructions.

• Comfort working directly with a founder in the absence of a creative team, responding positively to feedback, and maintaining a Monday to Friday schedule on Central Time.

• Previous experience working directly with a founder or within a startup environment is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Descript is strongly preferred.

• Experience editing for personal brands, consultants, coaches, marketing or content agencies, podcast creators, or professional-service and local business owners.

• Experience tailoring videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, or other social media platforms.

• Familiarity with Premiere Pro or similar professional editing software.
