This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to enhance operational execution, productivity, profitability, and customer service.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements across Guardian operating companies.
• Standardize best practices while considering local market requirements.
• Enhance field productivity, scheduling, dispatch, inventory management, fleet utilization, and operational workflows.
• Develop and implement operational scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead activities related to post-acquisition operational integration.
• Create and execute integration playbooks for newly acquired firms.
• Standardize operational processes, reporting, and business practices.
• Ensure successful integration of systems, policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, Safety, and Sales during integration efforts.
• Analyze operational KPIs and financial outcomes to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Support initiatives for forecasting, budgeting, labor productivity, gross margin enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Assist branch leadership in crafting action plans to boost business performance.
• Lead Lean initiatives, process improvements, and workflow optimization projects.
• Eliminate inefficiencies and foster improved cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop operational standards that facilitate scalable growth.
• Build strong partnerships with branch managers and operational leaders.
• Coach and develop operational leadership teams.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices among operating companies.
• Support strategic initiatives assigned by executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-site operations within industrial services, specialty contracting, construction, mechanical services, or similar industries.
• Proven track record of leading operational improvement initiatives across multiple business units.
• Demonstrated success in integrating acquisitions.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in managing and enhancing branch P&L performance.
• Experience in implementing operational metrics, dashboards, and accountability systems.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong preference for experience in fire protection, fire alarm, or fire sprinkler industries.
