Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and healthcare professionals to collect, organize, and present data to users.

• Convey significant analytics to the business in accessible, non-technical language and formats.

• Generate standard and ad hoc reports for users.

• Educate users on software and support them with advanced reporting needs.

• Design business intelligence solutions tailored to user requirements, suitable data repositories, BI development best practices, and innovative technologies and systems.

• Fulfill ad hoc data and reporting requests.

• Assess data requirements for users and various projects.

• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies.

• Assist with migration and testing processes.

• Manage analytics and reporting systems.

• Oversee system performance and coordinate upgrades.

• Track licenses and create as well as maintain user documentation.

• Provide support services for users and systems.

• Apply project management techniques for business intelligence initiatives and services.

• Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, healthcare information systems, or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in analyzing business processes and interfaces, including interpreting system documentation, data and/or business process modeling, and data flow/context diagramming.

• Preferred: 2 years of experience in writing EPIC Clarity reports and/or administering EPIC Reporting Workbench.

• Preferred: Previous experience with an A/R system for Financial Reporting.

• Preferred: Previous experience with an EMR system for Clinical Reporting.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Minitab Statistical Software.

• Adherence to HIPAA, data security guidelines, the Company’s Handbook of Privacy Policies and Practices, Information Security Policy, Code of Business Conduct, relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and training requirements.
