Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the program management office to guarantee the precise and timely generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients.

• Produce complex ad-hoc reports to fulfill client requests.

• Acquire knowledge and apply Vendor Management Systems (VMS), such as Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and Coupa, for report preparation and data utilization.

• Analyze data from various sources to provide insights, recommendations, and conclusions that support client business decisions.

• Maintain and refresh team tools and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Keep track of industry trends and customer benchmarks to deliver quarterly analysis within assigned sectors.

• Design and improve client-facing Power BI dashboards utilizing API integrations.

• Oversee and update client-facing Microsoft Power Pages.

• Develop and implement automation for client production reports and associated workflows.

• Create rate cards for new clients.

• Conduct market rate analysis requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or Mathematics.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or market research positions.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying purposes.

• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, data modeling principles, and experience with diverse data sources and APIs.

• Expertise in Power BI.

• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.

• Strong data visualization abilities.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective time management skills.

• Experience in data gathering from multiple sources.

• Ability to collaborate within a team.

• Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with relational and multidimensional database schemas, including writing complex queries.
