Vice President – Finance Operations, Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee global finance operations encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, procurement, customer contracting, and deal desk governance.

• Ensure the effective and precise execution of all financial transactions, application of internal controls, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Act as a global consultant on deal structuring, pricing strategies, and commercial terms to enhance revenue outcomes.

• Deliver strategic insights regarding deal dependencies, risks, and opportunities to facilitate global planning and execution.

• Spearhead the transformation of finance operations by refining processes, utilizing technology, and implementing automation and AI where they add business value.

• Discover opportunities to streamline, automate, or eliminate manual processes within financial operations.

• Cultivate teams, mentor leaders across the portfolio, and foster an environment that encourages collaboration, operational excellence, and contemporary enterprise thinking.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership.

• Extensive experience in finance operations, finance transformation, procurement operations, or similar fields.

• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in finance transformation.

• Demonstrated ability to modernize processes through standardization, automation, analytics, AI-powered tools, and redesigning operating models.

• Strong leadership capabilities to provide vision and support to the Finance team, mentor individuals, and cultivate high-performing talent.
