Vice President, Finance, Operations, Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee global finance operations encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processes, procurement, customer contracting, and deal desk governance.

• Ensure the effective and precise execution of all financial transactions, adherence to internal controls, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Lead the team while acting as a global consultant on deal structuring, pricing strategies, and commercial terms to enhance revenue results.

• Offer strategic insights regarding deal dependencies, risks, and opportunities to aid in global planning and execution.

• Drive the transformation of finance operations by refining processes, utilizing technology, and implementing automation and AI to deliver business value.

• Spot opportunities to streamline, automate, or eliminate manual procedures throughout financial operations.

• Foster team growth, cultivate leaders within the portfolio, and establish an environment that encourages collaboration, operational excellence, and contemporary enterprise thinking.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership.

• Considerable experience in finance operations, finance transformation, procurement operations, or similar fields.

• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in finance transformation.

• Demonstrated ability to modernize processes through standardization, automation, analytics, AI-driven tools, and redesigning operating models.

• Strong leadership capabilities to provide vision and support to the Finance team, mentor team members, and develop high-performing talent.
