VFX Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned VFX projects from the initial award stage to the final delivery.

• Develop and uphold project schedules, milestones, delivery plans, and forecasts.

• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies effectively.

• Track budgets, profitability, and financial forecasts; identify risks and create mitigation strategies.

• Handle daily client communications, including review timelines, delivery expectations, and creative feedback processes.

• Collaborate with Heads of Department and Department Managers to align client needs, creative quality, capacity, and delivery requirements.

• Guide and support production teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Raise concerns regarding budget, delivery, and client relationship risks when necessary.

• Assist in bidding, forecasting, and strategic planning as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Substantial experience in leading VFX productions (series or feature film) from award to final delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships in complex productions.

• Strong commercial acumen, financial responsibility, and forecasting expertise.

• Experience in leading multidisciplinary production teams.

• Sound judgment with the capability to balance creative excellence against practical delivery needs.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Confidence in making strategic decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Familiarity with production-tracking tools such as ShotGrid or similar.

• Previous experience as a VFX Producer or in a comparable senior production role is a plus.

• Experience in managing multiple concurrent productions is advantageous.

• Background in working with international teams and distributed production environments is beneficial.

• Experience in supporting bids, resource planning, utilization forecasting, or studio-level planning is a plus.
