This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Deliver skilled veterinary nursing assistance across various clinic settings.
• Support veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist in the operating room.
• Monitor anesthesia and aid in post-operative recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Collect samples and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Provide care for hospitalized and inpatient patients.
• Assist with emergency and urgent care cases as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Offer exceptional communication and education to clients.
• Assist with reception and administrative tasks when necessary.
• Uphold hygiene, infection control, and clinical standards throughout the clinic.
• Provide support to clinics during periods of leave, high demand, and staffing shortages.
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
• 2–3+ years of experience in clinical veterinary nursing.
• Confidence in medical, surgical, and hospital nursing environments.
• Ability to work independently and display initiative.
• Quick adaptability to new clinic environments.
• Excellent skills in monitoring anesthesia.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Organized, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between clinics throughout the Brisbane West Region.
