Venture Executive

📋 Description

• Lead one of Human Agency's ventures with complete responsibility.

• Oversee product direction, customer acquisition, operational processes, revenue, and profit & loss.

• Deliver AI-driven products by leveraging AI as a fundamental capability.

• Identify customers, finalize deals, provide value, and establish a sustainable growth engine.

• Recruit and manage a small, high-performing team as the venture progresses.

• Implement strategic pivots, phase out unsuccessful initiatives, and focus on effective strategies.

• Regularly communicate updates, insights, challenges, and shifts to studio leadership.

• Partner with Human Agency's studio resources, AI tools, network, and funding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing a startup, product line, business unit, or revenue-generating venture with accountability for results.

• Strong product and sales instincts; capable of developing desirable products and persuading customers to invest.

• AI-centric mindset and experience utilizing AI tools for development.

• Background in managing a profit & loss statement or responsibility for financial outcomes.

• Knowledge of unit economics and burn rate metrics.

• Tangible evidence of achievements, including products developed, launched, sold, or expanded.

• Ability to work independently and self-direct.

• Capacity to make swift decisions with incomplete information and learn from failures.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and proficiency in independently resolving issues.

• Comfort with autonomy and personal accountability.

• Intellectual integrity regarding performance and results.

• Dedication to meaningful work, the mission, product, and the community served.

• Applicants must reside in the US or Canada.
