Venture Executive

📋 Description

• Oversee one of Human Agency's ventures with complete responsibility for the product, customers, revenue, and profit & loss.

• Direct product strategy, customer acquisition, operations, and financial outcomes.

• Develop and launch AI-driven products with AI as a fundamental component.

• Identify customers, secure deals, provide value, and establish a scalable growth framework.

• Recruit and manage a small, high-performing team as the venture expands.

• Implement strategic shifts, phase out unproductive ideas, and focus on successful projects.

• Regularly communicate updates, insights, challenges, and strategic shifts to studio leadership.

• Collaborate with Human Agency's studio resources, AI tools, network, and funding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading a startup, product line, business unit, or a revenue-generating venture with responsibility for outcomes.

• Strong product and sales instincts; capable of creating products that meet customer needs and persuading them to purchase.

• Familiarity with AI-native methodologies and experience utilizing AI tools in product development.

• Experience managing a profit & loss statement or being accountable for financial results.

• Knowledge of unit economics and burn rate.

• Evidence of accomplishments through products built, launched, sold, or scaled.

• Ability to self-manage and self-direct.

• Capacity to make rapid decisions with partial information.

• A mindset of ownership with the capability to resolve issues independently.

• Comfort with both autonomy and accountability.

• Commitment to intellectual honesty and adaptability based on data insights.

• Alignment with the mission, product, and the communities served.

• Must reside in the US or Canada.
