This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Drive the growth of the Bank by developing new business opportunities and managing essential client relationships.
• Keep a consistent record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications.
• Serve as a point of escalation for complicated client issues and effectively resolve conflicts.
• Structure intricate deals and secure necessary credit approvals from both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Generate new business through outreach to prospects and clients, as well as cross-selling credit, trust/investment, and cash management products and services.
• Assess loan applications and cash management service agreements for accuracy, thoroughness, and alignment with risk management standards.
• Create market strategies, spot opportunities, and grow client portfolios.
• Identify market segments and utilize industry trends to drive business growth.
• Represent the Bank at industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies and address client needs.
• Compile reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and market trends for senior executives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with high-value and strategic clients, providing expert financial solutions advice.
• Negotiate high-value transactions and uncover share-of-wallet and cross-selling opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning.
• Define products, solutions, and strategies in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Cultivate and expand a portfolio that exceeds ROE thresholds while assessing client returns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, internal control, and risk management requirements.
• Offer specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support as needed.
• Work independently and manage non-routine situations effectively.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or similar banking environment, preferably with sales metrics.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; degrees in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting are preferred.
• Other related disciplines or equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Extensive education and business experience have provided deep knowledge and technical proficiency.
• Advanced skills in Product Knowledge, Regulatory Compliance, Deal Structuring, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Project Management, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Building Customer Relationships.
• Expert-level proficiency in Financial Analysis.
