This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive growth for BMO by developing business opportunities and managing essential client relationships
• Serve as a point of escalation for intricate client issues and resolve conflicts effectively
• Coordinate complex transactions and obtain credit approvals from internal stakeholders and external partners
• Generate new business by reaching out to prospects and clients, while cross-selling credit, trust/investment, and cash management products and services
• Assess loan applications and cash management service agreements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to risk management standards
• Formulate market strategies, pinpoint opportunities, and enhance client portfolios
• Identify significant market segments and utilize industry trends to stimulate business growth
• Represent the bank at industry conferences and forums
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies and meet client requirements
• Compile reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and market trends for senior executives
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value and strategic clients
• Negotiate significant transactions and uncover cross-selling opportunities
• Evaluate market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning
• Define products, solutions, and strategies in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders
• Identify share-of-wallet opportunities
• Foster and enhance portfolios that surpass ROE thresholds while proactively assessing client returns
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies
• Deliver specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support
• Utilize judgment to diagnose and resolve issues
• Operate independently and manage non-routine scenarios
• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework, Risk Culture, and approved Risk Appetite in daily operations
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or similar segmented banking environment, with a focus on sales metrics
• Bachelor's degree is required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting
• Consideration will be given to other related disciplines or equivalent work experience
• Extensive knowledge and technical expertise acquired through comprehensive education and professional experience
