This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Consistently meet established Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) targets through vendor-led solutions and opportunities.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of vendor solutions and revenue opportunities.
• Identify, engage, and foster relationships with potential and current customers to understand needs, qualify opportunities, and promote vendor solutions.
• Achieve expectations for outbound prospecting, introductory calls, and customer/vendor engagement activities.
• Develop and present strategic, solution-oriented proposals and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams and vendor partners to enhance solution adoption, fortify vendor relationships, and optimize revenue opportunities.
• Complete assigned sales training and professional development initiatives, including Grant Cardone University.
• Engage in sales role-play, coaching, and skill enhancement activities.
• Schedule at least three (3) First-Time Appointments (FTAs) weekly, or as directed by leadership.
• Present and advocate for vendor products and services with a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
• Conduct analyses of customer needs and cost-benefit evaluations.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, master agents, and strategic partners.
• Acquire competitive quotes, pricing, and solutions while ensuring favorable margins and customer outcomes.
• Accurately complete deal registrations within specified timelines.
• Maintain records of vendor quotes, deal registrations, commissions/payouts, and related activities.
• Stay updated on vendor offerings, industry developments, promotional opportunities, and market trends.
• Keep precise customer, vendor, and sales documentation in HubSpot CRM and other designated systems.
• Track vendor quotes, opportunities, commissions, and payouts.
• Maintain sales, pipeline, and status reporting in HubSpot, ConnectWise, and other designated systems.
• Provide leadership with insights into customer needs, competitive dynamics, vendor performance, and new product or service opportunities.
• Coordinate solution development and sales efforts with Sales, Service, and other internal departments.
• Facilitate the transition of closed opportunities to service or implementation teams and support the implementation process.
• Attend networking events, conferences, trade shows, vendor events, and other business development activities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance vendor partnerships, broaden solution offerings, and create additional revenue streams.
• Maintain knowledge of sales, vendor management, and industry best practices.
• Document workflows, procedures, and role-specific knowledge through SOPs, videos, and other approved documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in vendor management, account management, business development, technology sales, or a related customer-facing position.
• Proven experience in building and nurturing productive business relationships with vendors, customers, and/or strategic partners.
• Experience in developing sales pipelines, identifying business opportunities, and supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, including opportunity and pipeline management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business productivity tools.
• Experience in the Information Technology, cybersecurity, managed services, or related technology sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be acceptable.
• Results-driven and highly motivated, with a proven ability to meet revenue, pipeline, and business development goals.
• Strong relationship management skills with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, consultative selling, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Capability to comprehend customer business needs and align suitable vendor solutions, products, and services.
