Vendor Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in the vendor vetting process, onboarding, and ongoing management of vendor relationships.

• Engage directly with vendors to investigate delays, address questions related to processes, and resolve operational challenges.

• Track vendor performance, error patterns, rechecks, and key metrics to enhance accountability.

• Attend vendor meetings and contribute to discussions addressing performance or operational issues.

• Proactively identify, document, and escalate vendor-related concerns as needed.

• Keep clients and internal teams informed about vendor delays and other pertinent issues.

• Perform regular queue cleanups and ensure operational accuracy in vendor documentation.

• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Collaborate with internal teams and provide support across functions.

• Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Some college education is preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in the drug screening and/or background screening sector.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and multitasking skills.

• Comfortable performing extensive internet research and navigating multiple windows or browsers.

• Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM and input data quickly and accurately.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.

• Willingness to learn about background screening processes, industry vendors, and related information.

• Capable of working independently while effectively contributing to a team environment.

• Previous experience in remote work is preferred.

• Dependable with a commitment to maintaining regular and punctual attendance.

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
