Vacation Advisor – Reservation Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage with prospective owners via telephone to arrange preview package bookings.

• Clarify the specifics and prerequisites for attending a sales presentation and confirm eligibility.

• Address objections while maintaining a courteous and enthusiastic attitude.

• Utilize guest loyalty to encourage callers to secure dates for vacation ownership preview packages.

• Reach out to the relevant call center personnel, leaders, or departments to resolve inquiries, requests, or issues.

• Respond to inquiries regarding vacation spots, resort amenities, and services.

• Verify accommodation and date availability and propose alternatives.

• Promote upgrades and additional nights to enhance revenue.

• Clearly convey the requirements for preview-package reservations and sales presentations.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures; ensure confidentiality and safeguard company assets.

• Greet and acknowledge guests, anticipate and fulfill service needs, and show appreciation.

• Answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette.

• Foster positive working relationships and contribute to team objectives.

• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.

• Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• Must reside in the San Marcos, CA area.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone.

• Capability to explain reservation and sales presentation requirements.

• Proficiency in verifying eligibility criteria.

• Skill in overcoming objections using sales strategies.

• Ability to respond to inquiries about vacation destinations, resort amenities, and services.

• Competence in checking accommodation and date availability and suggesting alternatives.

• Adept at promoting accommodation upgrades and additional nights.

• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.

• Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards.

• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
