UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design process for various client projects, starting from initial discovery and wireframing to the creation of final high-fidelity interfaces.

• Perform extensive user research, which includes usability testing, interviews, and data analysis, to comprehend user needs and validate design choices.

• Convert intricate business requirements into user-friendly design solutions, producing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.

• Create responsive, accessible, and technically viable interfaces that comply with best practices, design principles, and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

• Establish and maintain design systems and component libraries to promote consistency and efficiency across various projects.

• Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the design and development phases.

• Utilize AI tools to optimize your workflow, investigate design alternatives, prototype concepts, and enhance overall output quality.

• Present and justify design choices to clients and stakeholders, championing user-centric solutions.

• Consistently test, learn, and refine designs based on user feedback and insights derived from data.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.

• A robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work for web and mobile applications.

• Profound understanding of user-centered design methodologies, interaction design principles, and visual design basics.

• Expertise in Figma, including experience with design systems and component libraries.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct user research and turn findings into practical design enhancements.

• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices.

• Assurance in challenging assumptions and advocating for user-focused design solutions.

• Familiarity with AI tools and their use in the design process.

• Excellent capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate asynchronously.

• Proficient in English (C1 level) with outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.

• Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed, multicultural teams.

• Background in a digital software agency or software development company.

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to facilitate effective collaboration with developers.

• Familiarity with prototyping and usability testing tools.

• Domain expertise in fintech, Ad Tech, iGaming, healthcare, or e-commerce.

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools like Cursor or Claude Code for prototyping and developing interactive concepts.
