Utilization Management Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the Centralized Utilization Management department.

• Address the utilization management needs effectively.

• Ensure adequate staffing levels and uphold operational commitments.

• Foster and strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and colleagues.

• Maintain effective communication across departments, manage special projects, and uphold policies, procedures, and care management services.

• Engage in and provide education to the team regarding performance improvement initiatives.

• Implement strategies to enhance satisfaction levels.

• Coordinate and ensure compliance with HFAP as well as state and federal regulations concerning Utilization/Denial management activities.

• Guide direct reports through coaching, feedback, development, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staffing plans, and interviews.

• Collaborate with the Manager and Director to supervise and sustain Utilization Management operations, focusing on utilization and denial management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is mandatory.

• An active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.

• A minimum of 5 years in Nursing/Patient Care experience is necessary.

• Preferably, 2 years of experience in Utilization or Case Management.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% is required.
