Unapplied Cash Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Review and reconcile cash that has not been applied.

• Collaborate closely with sites to verify visit activity.

• Input charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) as needed.

• Allocate receivables to the Cash Receipts Log across all lines of business.

• Conduct transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance details provided by pharmaceutical companies.

• Ensure the accuracy of cash postings by reaching out to pharmaceutical companies to confirm payment remittance details.

• Analyze, interpret, and discuss remittances from payers to ensure data accuracy.

• Provide administrative and organizational assistance.

• Support various operational areas within the finance department.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• An Associate's Degree is strongly preferred.

• Over 1 year of work experience in basic financial operations, including debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures, and payment lifecycles.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Understanding of payment flows, how to align payments with invoices, and the impact of unapplied cash on financials.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash issues.

• Strong attention to detail is essential.

• Problem-solving abilities are crucial.

• Clear communication skills are necessary.
