This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation, drafting, and upkeep of strategic advertising policies across Reddit's advertising products, serving as the subject matter expert for the EMEA region.

• Prepare risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior leaders and executive stakeholders across various functions.

• Clearly and confidently articulate the Ads Policy perspective.

• Exemplify Reddit’s Company Values by supporting colleagues and providing guidance as a senior peer leader.

• Make decisions on intricate, ambiguous ads policy escalations.

• Provide clear, balanced rulings on significant issues involving risk.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders from Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, Trust & Safety Policy, and other departments.

• Report directly to the Head of Ads Policy.

• Spearhead research and development of comprehensive policies that affect Reddit's global advertising platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation, with considerable experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a relevant policy area.

• Demonstrated history of taking full, dependable ownership of complex policy projects, which includes researching, drafting, implementing, and maintaining policies independently in dynamic environments.

• In-depth subject matter knowledge in advertising or content policy on an international level.

• Proven success in collaborating with global teams and advising stakeholders across various jurisdictions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex policy or regulatory issues into clear business terminology.

• Exceptional skill in synthesizing complex, ambiguous challenges into structured decision documents that outline risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions clearly.

• Direct experience in working with advertising policies within a leading tech platform (preferred).

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools to enhance workflows and scale processes (preferred).
