Academic Governance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the university's academic governance processes and assist in decision-making.

• Supervise the approval processes for academic program and policy proposals.

• Evaluate submissions to ensure all required documentation, program review outcomes, and governance compliance are in order.

• Manage proposal workflows in Kuali and monitor approval timelines.

• Address process issues and exceptions in collaboration with department leaders.

• Organize agendas, meeting minutes, communications, and follow-up actions for academic governance committees.

• Enhance communication among governance councils and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Assess proposals and business cases for completeness and appropriate input from partners.

• Maintain academic governance tools and systems to promote efficiency, accreditation compliance, and adherence to university policies.

• Assist partners in navigating academic governance processes.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Technical expertise to effectively coordinate project teams.

• Employees must live in and work from one of the designated approved states.
