Triage Nurse, RN – PT Days

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize critical thinking skills and respond swiftly and professionally in high-pressure and urgent situations.

• Conduct clinical assessments and nursing triage for a variety of patients throughout the health continuum.

• Deliver health education to populations with diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Guide patients to the most suitable level of care.

• Offer telephonic health information and nursing education.

• Empower patients to make informed healthcare choices.

• Assist patients in accessing external programs and resources.

• Collaborate with Telehealth providers by referring suitable patients for virtual consultations.

• Conduct outbound follow-up calls as necessary.

• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Nursing Degree (Diploma, ADN, BSN) is mandatory.

• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of residence is required.

• Ability to secure multi-state licensure.

• eNLC is preferred or the capability to obtain it.

• Two to four years of clinical experience is essential.

• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in medical-surgical, critical care, or inpatient care, is preferred.

• Background in Emergency Room, EMT, or triage is desirable.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Knowledge of health insurance, community resources, and community-based healthcare coordination.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Proficient with computers, software applications, and phone systems.

• Familiarity with hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).

• Manage patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Capability to plan, supervise, and review the work of clinical and non-clinical staff.

• Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions or irregular hours.

• Availability to work from 7am to 3pm CT, three days a week.
