Triage Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical guidance and assistance to individuals throughout Australia via the Virtual Health team.

• Evaluate the needs of consumers and offer health-related information.

• Direct consumers to suitable healthcare providers.

• Operate independently in a virtual setting.

• Follow a fixed two-week rotating schedule, with 60% of shifts taking place after hours.

• Work shifts between 7:00 AM and 3:00 AM, from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.

• Complete at least one shift on a Friday every two weeks.

• Engage in full-time virtual training from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM AEST, for a duration of seven days.

• Utilize digital systems while juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (Division 1).

• At least 3 years of recent clinical experience within the past 5 years.

• Current AHPRA registration without any notations.

• Experience in areas such as Accident & Emergency, Pediatrics, Community Care, or Acute Medical/Surgical settings.

• Strong assessment capabilities.

• Ability to work independently.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable with digital systems and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability for weekend and night shifts.

• A private home office equipped with a closable door.

• Fast and reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds.

• Ability to multitask while listening, typing, and navigating online resources.

• Full availability for virtual training.

• Desirable: Experience in virtual communication, prior call center or customer service roles, and experience working within corporate or multidisciplinary teams.

• Commitment to continuous professional development.

• May be required to declare vaccination status and/or provide evidence, depending on the position.
