Traveling Metrology Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute calibration and maintenance tasks for customer equipment, with a focus on liquid handling devices.

• Collaborate with customers to establish metrology schedules and inspection procedures tailored for specific equipment.

• Oversee customer interventions and travel to client locations as necessary.

• Conduct on-site inspections, calibrations, and maintenance of measuring instruments in compliance with relevant standards.

• Ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of clients' measuring instruments.

• Independently manage working hours.

• Foster trustworthy relationships with customers and guarantee their satisfaction.

• Play a role in the growth of a start-up within a larger organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: a minimum of a two- to three-year post-secondary qualification (Bac+2/Bac+3 equivalent) in quality or laboratory technology.

• A valid driver’s license is REQUIRED.

• Prior knowledge of metrology is preferred.

• Experience with volumetric measurements is a plus.

• Strong autonomy, meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and customer relationship management skills.

• Willingness to travel mainly within the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions, with occasional trips elsewhere in France.

• Frequent overnight stays during the workweek are expected.

• Ability to participate in training sessions in Nantes and learn through field observations.

• This is a permanent, full-time position.
