Travel Healthcare Recruiter

📋 Description

• Recruit, screen, negotiate with, and onboard healthcare professionals.

• Implement independent recruiting strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and profitability.

• Establish relationships with field staff, generate referrals, and seek out new candidates.

• Source qualified nurses for travel assignments through prospecting, referrals, and leads.

• Promote assignments to prospective travelers utilizing a consultative sales approach.

• Recruit, screen, interview, and assess healthcare professionals according to client requirements.

• Develop a network of potential healthcare professionals and manage the candidate pool.

• Negotiate compensation packages with healthcare professionals while ensuring acceptable profit margins.

• Formulate recruiting strategies through email campaigns, social media, and additional tools.

• Conduct competitive market analysis within the local area.

• Meet performance benchmarks for outbound calls, candidate submissions, and booked weeks.

• Deliver excellent customer service and foster relationships with healthcare travelers.

• Participate in trade shows, conventions, job fairs, workshops, and sponsored events as required.

• Prepare weekly recruitment reports and undertake special recruiting projects.

• Maintain and update candidate database files and necessary documentation.

• Ensure traveler satisfaction on each assignment through effective planning and follow-up.

• Sustain positive business relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Communicate with active nursing staff, follow up accordingly, and identify needs.

• Maintain flexible schedules to accommodate nurse staff requests and address issues.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management, preferably within staffing.

• A strong sense of urgency.

• Proficient phone presentation skills.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Capability to collaborate with all stakeholders throughout the selling cycle to achieve objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Bachelor's degree preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.
