Travel Consultant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee and fulfill travel requests utilizing BCD Travel tools and systems.

• Research, book, and verify travel arrangements for clients.

• Accurately implement client travel policies, supplier guidelines, and travel requirements.

• Offer travel advice, fare details, and cost-effective recommendations.

• Address customer queries promptly, accurately, and professionally.

• Keep current with travel industry trends, regulations, and policies.

• Assist travelers with travel documentation and compliance needs, including passports, visas, DOT, and TSA regulations.

• Support BCD Travel initiatives as well as client-specific goals and programs.

• Act as the main point of contact for business travel clients.

• Provide proactive travel consultation and promote related products.

• Background in customer service or a travel-related role; candidates without previous experience in a travel management company may be considered.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in designated languages.

• Flexibility to work various hours.

• Proven understanding of exemplary customer service.

• Familiarity with GDS Amadeus.
