Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in researching and planning trips that align with their preferences, requirements, and budgets.

• Conduct thorough research on destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation, and various travel options.

• Prepare and present travel quotes along with itinerary suggestions.

• Arrange travel bookings through authorized travel suppliers and booking platforms.

• Maintain communication with clients throughout the booking process, including before, during, and after their trips.

• Keep accurate records of client and reservation information.

• Handle and track payments, including deadlines and final payment dates.

• Stay updated on supplier promotions, destination news, and travel regulations.

• Engage in available training and professional development opportunities.

• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with clients.

• Promote and expand your independent travel business.

• Applicants must be 18 years old or older.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

• Proficiency in using computers, email, and online platforms is required.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Openness to complete training and continue learning about the travel industry.

• Previous experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel is advantageous but not mandatory.

• No prior experience in the travel industry is necessary.

• This is an independent contractor position.
