Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Support clients in researching and planning vacations tailored to their needs, preferences, and budgets.

• Investigate destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation, and various travel options.

• Prepare and deliver travel quotes along with itinerary alternatives.

• Arrange travel bookings through authorized travel suppliers and booking platforms.

• Maintain communication with clients throughout the booking process, including before, during, and after.

• Ensure the accuracy of client and reservation details.

• Oversee and process payments, deadlines, and final payment schedules.

• Keep up-to-date with supplier promotions, destination changes, and travel requirements.

• Engage in available training and professional development opportunities.

• Foster and sustain positive client relationships.

• Promote and expand your independent travel business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Proficient in using computers, email, and online platforms.

• Well-organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.

• Open to completing training and continuing education in the travel sector.

• Previous experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel is advantageous but not mandatory.
