Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advice and arrangements for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups.

• Perform analysis and research to explore various travel options.

• Anticipate the needs of travelers proactively and promote additional services.

• Organize and book business travel domestically and internationally, covering air travel, road transport, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize GDS systems, with a focus on Sabre.

• Ensure adherence to customer travel policies, service provider guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Implement positive telephone service techniques.

• Address special requests from customers.

• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in GDS systems, particularly Sabre.

• Possess extensive knowledge of international travel.

• Experience in servicing clients via phone and email.

• Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail.

• Act with integrity while safeguarding the personal information of travelers.

• Have a solid understanding of the travel industry, including experience in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Capable of resolving customer issues swiftly, either independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Foster teamwork and be receptive to feedback.

• Flexibility to work afternoon shifts between 8 AM and 8 PM EST.

• Ability to operate within a 24/7 Traveler Care environment.
