Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide expert travel advice and organize travel arrangements for corporate clients, both individual and group.

• Conduct thorough analysis and research on various travel options.

• Anticipate the needs of travelers proactively and promote additional services.

• Coordinate and book business travel both domestically and internationally.

• Handle the arrangement and booking of air, road, rail, and accommodation travel with varying levels of complexity.

• Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System effectively.

• Ensure adherence to customer travel policies, supplier protocols, and regulatory standards.

• Employ positive telephone service techniques in all communications.

• Respond to special requests from customers promptly.

• Work collaboratively with the team to mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Amadeus.

• Minimum of two years of experience with Amadeus GDS.

• Native or full working proficiency in German, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in English and any additional European language is considered advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel, or airline reservation systems.

• Capable of resolving customer issues swiftly, either independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Maintain integrity and protect personal information of travelers.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and be receptive to feedback.

• Willingness to be available for 24/7 operations and overnight shift schedules.
