Travel Consultant – After Hours Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide expert travel advice and make arrangements for corporate clients, individuals, and groups.

• Conduct thorough analysis and research on travel options while proactively anticipating the needs of travelers to promote additional services.

• Organize and reserve both domestic and international business travel of varying complexities, including air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System; refresher training may be offered.

• Ensure adherence to customers’ established travel policies, service provider regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Employ positive telephone service techniques and respond to special customer requests.

• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and offer constructive feedback to enhance service quality.

• Operate within the After Hours team in a shared customer service environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in using GDS (Amadeus) with a minimum of two years of experience.

• Native or fully proficient in German, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in English and any other European language is considered advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrated integrity and care with personal traveler information.

• Solid understanding of the travel industry, encompassing business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Ability to swiftly and independently resolve customer issues or coordinate with suppliers.

• A team-oriented approach with a willingness to accept feedback.

• Availability for a 24/7 operation, including overnight shifts as necessary.
