This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Engage in consultative discussions with client travelers to accurately make travel reservations and fulfill travel program requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships between World Travel, Inc. and its clientele.
• Coordinate intricate domestic and international corporate travel, including flights, car rentals, hotels, ground transportation, and transfers.
• Inform travelers about international travel protocols and potential concerns.
• Implement client travel policies, guidelines, authorization prerequisites, and procedures.
• Advise clients and travelers on safety aspects, governmental regulations, preferred suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and routing options.
• Investigate and address en-route traveler service issues.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and utilize the company phone system proficiently.
• Organize and manage workload effectively during assigned shift hours.
• Collaborate as a team member and support customer service operations.
• Maintain passenger name records, profiles, ticketing, management information systems, productivity, attendance, and accuracy of work.
• Ensure client support during emergencies and adverse weather conditions.
• Attend staff and training meetings for updates on the travel industry, office procedures, and company policies.
• Keep the immediate supervisor apprised of potential issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Foster cooperative working relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Proficient in Sabre Graphical/Classical and International systems.
• Capable of arranging intricate domestic and international corporate travel, including flights, car rentals, hotels, ground transportation, and transfers.
• Knowledgeable about international travel necessities, such as passports, visas, and vaccinations.
• Comprehensive understanding of client travel policies, guidelines, authorization conditions, and procedures.
• Familiarity with airline regulations, domestic tariffs, and other industry standards.
• Awareness of US Federal travel regulations and requirements related to US government contractors, including FAR and Fly America.
• High level of competence in operating a global distribution system (GDS).
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and work independently.
• Strong customer service skills, along with diplomacy, tact, and a professional phone demeanor.
• Good judgment and effective time management skills.
• Must participate in staff and training meetings, whether virtually or in person.
