This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and make decisions on complex claims, including those under litigation, while ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.

• Supervise the investigation, assessment, and resolution of bodily injury claims related to company vehicles or drivers.

• Create comprehensive file summaries for internal reporting, large loss evaluations, and reinsurance purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of all relevant information.

• Ensure that all bodily injury claims are managed in line with industry best practices and company policies.

• Adjust physical damage claims, including those with unreported damages.

• Engage in negotiations directly with insurance company adjusters, claimants, and third-party representatives upon receiving critical information.

• Discuss incidents, damages, preventability, and procedures with commercial vehicle operators.

• Maintain files related to litigation, subrogation, physical damage, liability, and workers' compensation claims.

• Report claims and accidents as required.

• Be on-call during nights and weekends for serious accidents and other necessary duties.

• Select, direct, and manage vendor relationships, including towing companies, body shops, and garage/storage yards to obtain accurate costs needed for claim settlements.

• Update and post payments for repairs.

• Request police reports, establish new claim files, and confirm losses with insurers and brokers.

• Communicate effectively with the Claims team, as well as the Safety/Compliance team and other relevant parties.
