This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Broaden the network of freelance translators for ELAN Languages.

• Provide translation services for French public entities and organizations.

• Engage in various institutional sectors including medical, cultural, scientific, administrative, political, academic, technical, and legal domains.

• Submit a CV outlining pertinent experience for evaluation.

• Participate in a quality review process to guarantee high-quality deliverables for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in translation for French public institutions, such as national or regional administrations, public agencies, and similar entities.

• Applications are encouraged from sworn translators registered with a French Court of Appeal as well as non-sworn translators.

• Background in a field related to institutional work, including medical, cultural, scientific, administrative, political, academic, technical, or legal translation.

• Proficiency in relevant language combinations to and from French (France), encompassing Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Turkish, Korean, Arabic, German, English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Greek.

• CV showcasing relevant experience.

• Quality assurance review conducted by the ELAN Languages quality management team.
