Translation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of translation projects in collaboration with internal translation requesters and external vendors.

• Implement project management methodologies to guarantee timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality deliverables.

• Conduct quality assessments upon receiving translations.

• Utilize translation management systems and marketing asset technologies.

• Address operational challenges across various business areas.

• Record and document translation workflows.

• Generate project reports as necessary.

• Engage in global language initiatives and offer ideas and suggestions for enhancements.

• Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the language industry and project management practices.

• Proficiency with computer-assisted translation and terminology tools is essential.

• Outstanding organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks, projects, and information concurrently.

• Excellent command of the English language is mandatory.

• Proficiency in additional language(s) is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Experience in the language industry is essential.

• Detail-oriented and process-focused, with skills in participating in process improvement efforts.

• A BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Translation, or Languages is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in translation project management is required.

• Experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.
