This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee project tasks for both internal and external clients throughout the United States.
• Implement risk management processes developed by the FTA and adhere to APTA industry standards.
• Create PHAs/TVAs along with corresponding mitigations and countermeasures.
• Facilitate workshops with diverse groups and committees.
• Generate CELs/CILs.
• Produce DCCCs/CSCCs.
• Engage directly with agency clients and project managers.
• Prepare SSC documentation and reports.
• Develop, review, and annually update PTASPs.
• Conduct SSC peer reviews.
• Provide SSC training for both internal and external clients.
• Offer direction and support to multidisciplinary colleagues and junior staff.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision from senior management.
• BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a proven equivalent of experience and/or education.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Capability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in line with company policy.
• Preferred completion of Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Programs (PTSCTP and/or TSSP).
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
• FTA TSSP Bus/Rail Certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CPTED Design Standards.
• Proficiency in ADA Design Standards and compliance in project delivery.
• Familiarity with NFPA 130 Design Standards.
• Expertise in the FTA Safety & Security Certification Process.
• Knowledge of APTA Safety & Security Certification Standards.
• Competence in PTASP development and the annual review process.
• Skill in Safety & Security Certification Documentation.
• Experience with Safety & Security Design Review.
• Proficient in Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis/Assessments.
