This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee project tasks for both internal and external clients throughout the United States.
• Implement risk management protocols as established by FTA and in accordance with APTA industry standards.
• Create PHAs/TVAs along with relevant mitigations and countermeasures.
• Facilitate workshops involving diverse groups and committees.
• Generate CELs/CILs.
• Formulate DCCCs/CSCCs.
• Engage directly with agency clients and project managers.
• Draft SSC documents and reports.
• Annually develop, review, and update PTASPs.
• Conduct SSC peer reviews.
• Provide SSC training to both internal and external clients.
• Offer guidance and support to multidisciplinary colleagues and junior staff.
• BA/BS degree combined with 6 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalent of experience and/or education.
• Capability to pass MVR check.
• Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP and/or TSSP) is preferred.
• Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred.
• FTA TSSP Bus/Rail Certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CPTED Design Standards.
• Proficient understanding of ADA Design Standards and compliance in project delivery.
• Familiarity with NFPA 130 Design Standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the FTA Safety & Security Certification Process.
• Proven expertise with APTA Safety & Security Certification Standards.
• Established proficiency in PTASP Development and the Annual Review Process.
• Competence in Safety & Security Certification Documentation.
• Proficiency in Safety & Security Design Review.
• Experience in Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis/Assessments.
• Proven experience leading project tasks related to PTSCTP, TSSP, State Safety Oversight (SSO), U.S. domestic Cybersecurity, and Safety & Security (SS).
