This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee project tasks for both internal and external clients throughout the United States
• Implement risk management processes established by the FTA alongside industry standards from APTA
• Offer direction and mentorship to colleagues across various disciplines and junior staff members
• Create PHAs/TVAs and their corresponding mitigations and countermeasures
• Facilitate workshops with multi-disciplinary teams and committees
• Generate CEL/CILs
• Develop DCCCs/CSCCs
• Engage directly with agency clients and project managers
• Compile SSC documents and reports
• Formulate, assess, and refresh PTASPs on an annual basis
• Conduct SSC peer evaluations
• Provide SSC training for both internal and external clients
• BA/BS degree along with 6 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Capability to successfully pass an MVR check
• Experience with Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Programs (PTSCTP, TSSP)
• Familiarity with State Safety Oversight (SSO)
• Proven experience in U.S. domestic Cybersecurity as well as safety and security
• Preference for candidates with Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP and/or TSSP)
• Preference for Certified Safety Professionals (CSP)
• Preference for candidates with FTA TSSP Bus/Rail Certification
• Proficient understanding of CPTED Design Standards
• Proficient in ADA Design Standards compliance and project delivery
• Proficient in NFPA 130 Design Standards compliance and project execution
• Demonstrated proficiency in the FTA Safety & Security Certification Process
• Demonstrated proficiency with APTA Safety & Security Certification Standards
• Demonstrated proficiency in PTASP Development and Annual Review Process
• Demonstrated proficiency in Safety & Security Certification Documentation
• Demonstrated proficiency in Safety & Security Design Review for project deliveries
• Demonstrated proficiency in Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis/Assessments for project deliveries
