
Transcription Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Receive and evaluate audio/files submitted by digital reporters and other resources.
• Assign transcription and scoping tasks to both resources and vendors.
• Coordinate, manage, and monitor statuses as necessary.
• Communicate with resources regarding the status of audio/transcripts and other client inquiries.
• Provide constructive feedback on job submissions.
• Oversee the department inbox to promptly address client questions and various requests.
• Manage transcription-related phone inquiries.
• Coordinate deliverables with other Operations departments.
• Assist clients throughout the client-provided audio transcription request process, including offering cost estimates.
• Keep databases and job boards updated with current information.
• Conduct quality checks, format, and finalize transcripts as necessary.
• Recommend enhancements to transcription workflows, policies, and procedures through process improvements and/or technology usage.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three years of experience in an office or customer-service environment, or a combination of education and industry experience is required.
• Transcription experience is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
