Traffic Systems Technical Solutions Consultant – New England

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, demonstrate, and troubleshoot Wavetronix products.

• Foster customer relationships and deliver technical support both in the field and remotely.

• Provide technical training and presentations to clients.

• Conduct site surveys and assess project plans to propose solutions.

• Identify technical issues and apply effective resolutions.

• Document activities, maintain trip reports, and monitor projects in CRM systems.

• Collaborate with various teams and disseminate knowledge across the organization.

• Adapt to shifting schedules and travel within assigned regions.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

• Acquire knowledge on basic operations of intersection and controller cabinets.

• Complete a minimum of five independent technical customer visits within a year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Self-driven; capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• Customer-oriented with robust technical troubleshooting skills.

• Technical degree (EE, EET, or a related discipline) or certifications in the ITS/traffic sector are preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% within Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

• Capacity to adjust to changing schedules and travel requirements across assigned territories.

• Skills in installing, configuring, demonstrating, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.

• Competence in utilizing mobile tools and applications.

• Ability to understand and convey technical procedures and processes to clients.

• Capability to grasp customer needs and offer suitable recommendations.

• Preference will be given to candidates located in or around Massachusetts.
