This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for members seeking assistance with trade execution, various order types, implications of cost basis, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Provide education to members regarding brokerage features, market mechanics, trading regulations, IRA transaction policies, tax-loss harvesting, and complex money movement procedures.
• Address advanced inquiries related to order status, discrepancies in trades, adjustments of cost basis, and corporate actions.
• Collaborate with CFP® Financial Planners to assess member portfolios, explore trading options, and synchronize execution workflows with comprehensive financial plans.
• Manage and oversee trade requests, model modifications, and rebalancing actions across Schwab, Fidelity, Apex, and various other custodian platforms.
• Serve as an internal authority on trading mechanics related to managed accounts, direct indexing, and multi-sleeve portfolio configurations.
• Seek opportunities to enhance member trading experiences, boost self-service education, and refine trade escalation workflows.
• Engage in investment operations projects, upgrades to trading software, and the introduction of new platform features.
• Undergo training in SMA and UMA trading and allocation, software for portfolio rebalancing, sleeved trading, direct indexing, tax-loss harvesting, and large-scale ETF trading.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in client-facing trading support, brokerage operations, or investor services.
• Strong knowledge of equity and ETF trading, options strategies, order routing, methods of cost basis, tax-loss harvesting, and processes for custodian transfers.
• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), custodial platforms, and portfolio management/rebalancing software such as Orion, Envestnet, Addepar, or similar tools.
• Advanced computer and analytical abilities.
• High proficiency in Excel and financial CRM/ticketing systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to articulate complex trading concepts in simple, jargon-free language.
• Demonstrated empathy and active listening skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy when operating under time-sensitive market conditions.
